Booking FAQ
What does the booking process look like? Part 1
Before you start the process please look over my portfolio page and my pricing page. If my prices are higher than your budget or my style of shooting and editing don't match the vision you have for your pictures, please hire a different photographer.
To start the process, you can send me an email through my contact page or give me a call at 717-524-8765. You can, to help ensure you are able to book the date you would like, expedite that part by heading to my booking page and starting the process there. A secure email is going to be needed for the process as I will need it to send a questionnaire and contract forms as well as your invoice. Emails for all other participants of the session that are over 18 would be beneficial as they will need to fill out forms, but is not required as they can fill the forms out in person. Please do not give me anyone's email without their permission.
However you decide to start the process, please tell me a brief summary of what you are interested in having done. I will then send you an email containing a questionnaire. Please if possible, fill this out with all participating parties of the session present. This questionnaire will give me all sorts of details pertaining to the session you would like to have, all session participants, and if there are any sensitive situations and conditions I should be aware of.
What does the booking process look like? Part 2
I will then send you your contract and media release form. Other participants over 18 will need to fill out the media release form and the print release form. These forms need to be filled out before we can continue on with your session. The media release form lets me know where I am allowed to use/post your photos and if I can mention your name with those photos. The print release states how you are able to use your photos as well as stating that the photos can not be altered by you or any participants by any means, including app filters.
Your invoice may be sent before or after your session, depending on when all of the paperwork is filled out. If your invoice is sent before your session, you can chose to pay before or after your session.
If you pay for your session after, please note that you will not receive any photos until after I receive your full payment.
How Soon can I Schedule a Session?
When scheduling a session I need a minimum of 3 weeks notice. The booking calendar automatically puts the soonest available date at least 3 weeks in the future from the current moment.
I have specific availability showing up to 120 Days in the future but if you would like to schedule for after that please let me know during your call/email or by sending a request in my booking page. There is an area at the bottom of the page that says "Need a different time? Submit a request". This will allow you to ask for a time and date that you like.
Your Booking Calendar won't allow me to Schedule for a particular time/day. How Do I Request a Session?
If requesting for a time and date on my booking page there is an area at the bottom of the page that says "Need a different time? Submit a request". This will allow you to ask for a time and date that you like. When calling or emailing me you can ask for my availability in that call or email. Please note that I may not be available during that time.
Please do not request for a time on marked off Holidays as I do not schedule sessions during these times.
I Only See Three Session Types on Your Booking Page. Where are the Others?
As I am currently limited on how many session types I can have on my booking page, I have grouped the session types together based on the amount of time they take.
So for example, I have both Family and Maternity Sessions lasting up to three hours, so they have been grouped into one session type on my booking page. When selecting your session date and time, please specify further what session type you are booking for in the "write a message" box.
Image FAQ
I would like my newborn to be a part of my session, when is the best time to have our session?
The best time to photograph newborns is within the first 3 weeks of life. This lets me capture more sleepy baby pictures, but we can have your session whenever you like.
I am expecting a child, when should I book my maternity session?
The best time to photograph maternity photos is around 35 weeks of pregnancy. This allows for a fuller bump while having less of a risk of your baby(s) arriving before we have your session. We can have your session whenever you like, however.
I have a pinterest board full of photos I would like for our session! Can I share them with you?
Of course! It is always nice to see the images people are drawn to and helps me with our session. Keep in mind though that we want to have a session that is tailored for you-we don't want to recreate someone else's.
Do you give out raw images?
No I don't. I like to think of it as this, a good chef wouldn't serve raw pork. The raw version of a photo is meant to be edited and does not serve the photos their full potential.
Do you offer retouching?
I do slight retouching of my own accord. This means things that could be distracting from your beautiful images, including acne and cuts and scrapes. If you do not want any retouching please let me know ahead of the shoot. Either way, you are beautiful just the way you are!
Please note that I do NOT do heavy retouching that includes overall face smoothing and removing lines and/or wrinkles.
Can some of my photos be delivered in black and white or sepia?
Yes! You have the ability to choose your favorites. While doing this, please leave a note under the photo that you would like in sepia or black and white.
How long will it take to get my images?
It can take up to a few months to get your images back after editing depending on how many photos were taken during your session. However, you will not receive your images until your full session payment is received.
Are our digital files watermarked?
If full payment is not received before I complete the editing process, pictures are watermarked until transaction is complete. Once full payment is received ,the photos will not have a watermark and you are free to use them on social media and to print for personal use.
Will I recieve every image from my session?
No. After your session I will delete duplicate images and images where the focus was missed. After this, you will recieve all viable photos from your session, fully edited.
How long will you store my photos?
I try to store your photos indefinitely, however your gallery will be online for the minimum of 1 year after your session date. Once you get your photos, it is advised to save them to multiple places in case something happens to your computer or mine.
How do I get my photos printed?
I offer print services through my store. You are given a print release with your photos so you are able to print anywhere you wish. I, however, highly recommend staying away from drug stores or supercenters because of low quality. If you are paying for professional photographs, its a good idea to get them professionally printed too!
Can I post my photos?
Yes,of course! I know what its like to want to show pics of family and friends. All I say is that you don't put any filters on the already edited images (which you shouldn't because of the contract and print release forms that you sign) before posting to social media and that you tag me too! I work really hard to photograph and edit your photos just right so you don't worry about adding anything.
Payment FAQ
When is my session payment due?
After all paperwork is signed, you can pay anytime before your session or up to 30 days after your session, however, you will not receive any images until full session payment is received. If the full session payment is not received in 30 days, there will be a charge of 3% percent monthly added onto the session payment that stacks.
What payment methods can I use to pay for my session?
You can pay for your session using Cash, Check, and/or Debit/Credit Card. When using cash or check to pay for your session , either before or after your session date, please arrange a time with me to pick up payment. If you would like to pay on the day of your session, please let me know and you can hand it to me at any point. You can use your credit/debit card to pay for your session online.
Rescheduling and Cancelation FAQ
What if it rains/snows on the day of our session?
Mother Nature can be moody, its just a fact of life. If it is set to actively be snowing or raining during your session I will call for a reschedule. It is safer for you and I, as well as my equipment if we don't do your session during those types of weather. However if it is set to snow/rain before your session but is done before your session starts then we are still set to go! Safety is my #1 priority, so if you don't feel safe to go ahead with our session then let me know and we will reschedule.
What if I need to reschedule?
Things happen. I get that, and will try to be accommodating. I will grant rescheduling for weather related purposes. If you need to reschedule for other reasons I will require a $50 retainer that will go toward your session fee, to hold your session date. If you don't make it to your retained session, the $50 fee will not be returned. Rescheduled sessions will be scheduled for at least two weeks out.

Landscape FAQ
Are the Landscape Prints we buy watermarked?
Yes. I have placed a watermark of my logo in a corner of the image that will show up on the print that you order. I did this to be a representation that this is my photo that someone has decided to have printed for art purposes and it lets someone know who may see it where they could purchase if they would like. Think of it as a painter who puts their initial in the corner of their painting. I have made the logo where it is still visible but not distracting from the image.
Why are there such few sizes available for print?
This is to make sure that someone can't crop out the logo stated above and to give you the photo in its entirety.
